Prairie State Achievement Exam (PSAE) for Juniors

The PSAE is a statewide high school achievement test for Grade 11 students. It is the only statewide academic assessment that Illinois law requires public high school student to take. All Grade 11 students must take the PSAE to receive a regular high school diploma.

The Prairie State Achievement Examination (PSAE), a two-day battery of tests comprised of the ACT Plus Writing Assessment, ISBE-developed science test and two WorkKeys tests developed by ACT.

As a part of the PSAE, students will receive an official ACT Plus Writing Assessment score that can be used for college admission. We feel fortunate that the State of Illinois selected the ACT Plus Writing Assessment as part of their testing program and that we will be able to offer all students in District 214 an opportunity to take this important exam at no cost.

TEST DATES:
Wednesday, April 28, 2010 and Thursday, April 29, 2010.

There will be Special Testing and Late Arrival Schedules on the two PSAE testing days.
