School is canceled on Friday, January 23. All District 214 school buildings will be closed.

Due to the extreme cold forecast for Friday and National Weather Service warning in effect for our area, High School District 214 has made the decision to cancel school and close all buildings.

High School District 214 is committed to a winter weather closing process that ensures decisions are made in a timely fashion for families to plan and in the best interest of our students and staff with safety and well-being of our entire school community at the forefront of our process.

All activities, athletics, events, and Community Education programs scheduled for Friday are canceled. At this time, all Saturday events remain scheduled as planned.

Families are encouraged to limit time outdoors and take precautions during the extreme cold.
